reference resources to help in lesson preparation
Resources are
all kind the material that teacher use in order to teach. It means those
materials could include books, articles, dictionaries, and so on. Teacher can
use those kinds of resources in the class for example The use of course book
like student´s book and teacher´s book
aren´t enough to the students because they need to practice the language
through exercises such as written, listening, and speaking; for this reason
teacher needs to find Phonemic charts,
websites on the internet, things like that, those are called supplementary materials. Also, is
considered as resources to the people because they could help to share
information about where people can find other sources which they probably need.
Consequently, reference resources are used before to
planning the lesson because with this we have access to explore more
information about the future topic that teacher will start teaching. It means
that we would find background information, terminology, definitions,
bibliography, and so on in order to have a good lesson plan.
Secondly, as a
future teacher, I have to be prepared to face whatever challenged. Imagine
students are performing a role play; obviously I must check their spelling,
pronunciation and use the correct vocabulary. For this reason I need to be
prepared with dictionaries it could be bilingual
dictionaries, and monolingual
dictionaries will be used to know the meaning, and also with those
dictionaries we can find other information because dictionaries have other features such as: collocation, synonyms, antonyms, and idioms. This kind of information is important because as a teacher
I could correct student´s mistakes and they could wide their knowledge.
